INVITATION TO BID The Stamford Community Development Office (SCDO) will be accepting sealed bids from General & HVAC Contractors on behalf of Boys & Girls Club of Stamford located at 347 Stillwater Avenue Stamford, CT 06902, for Replacement of HVAC Air Handler & Condenser Units at 347 Stillwater Avenue Facility Location. Contractors must have related experience, a DUNS number, be registered with SAM.gov and be licensed in the State of Connecticut. Contractors also must have General & Workman’s Compensation Insurance for the project. Bid packages will be made available electronically Wednesday March 16, 2022-Friday March 25, 2022 upon request only 8:00am-4:30pm via email at aknittel@stamfordct.gov. Mark Your email: “Bid Request SCD 47-13- “Replacenet of HVAC Air Handler Units”. You may also pick-up a bid package at the MANDATORY site inspection. A mandatory site inspection will be conducted at the property location on Wednesday March 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM. All Contractors that are interested are required to wear protective masks & gloves and observe the social distancing rule during the inspection. On Wednesday April 13, 2022, at 10:30 AM all bids must be mailed, emailed to aknittel@stamfordct.gov or overnight delivery to Stamford Government Center, Community Development Office, 10th floor, 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford Ct 06901 and received prior to the bid opening time of 10:30 am. No bid received after the bid closing time will be considered. Mark your Envelope: “Bid SCD 47-13-” Replacement of HVAC Air Handler & Condenser Units” The Bids will be opened respectively by SCD department staff, and publicly read on line via “Zoom Meeting”. Instructions and zoom meeting information for all contractors that submitted bids will be emailed to given email address the day before the bid open date/time. All contractors that submitted a bid will be notified via email with the bid results as well. The City of Stamford & Boys & Girls Club of Stamford reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Organization. This bid is subject to Community Development Block Grant Regulations, Federal Equal Opportunity Laws. Davis Bacon Wage Rates apply.
