LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OF BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
The Contractor shall develop their landscape maintenance plan for the designated bid items as listed. The plan shall incorporate the three seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall). Plant replacement, if warranted, shall be in accordance with the site design or substituted with approval from the Director of Public Works.
All bid proposals shall be properly executed in ink without alterations and shall be complete. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10 %) of the bid. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at no cost from the offices of Lower Allen Township at the address above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays, and on the Township website: www.latwp.org. The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid price.
If the anticipated project cost is at least $25,000, Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
