INVITATION TO BIDDERS OUTDOOR PATIO, ACTIVITY AND GARDEN AREA AND NATURE WALK MARC COMMUNITY RESOURCES, LTD MIDDLETOWN, CT MARC Community Resources, LTD will receive sealed bids until 4:00 PM, prevailing local time on Friday, March 12, 2021 at MARC Community Resources, LTD, 25 Industrial Park Rd, Middletown, CT 06457 at which time they will be opened and read. 1. All bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled Outdoor patio, activity garden area and nature walk for MARC Community Resources, LTD. Attn: Linda Iovanna. 2. Work required pursuant to this contract includes the following: a. Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for completion of an Outdoor patio/dining area of approximately 1100 sq. Ft, walkways, patio seat walls, open field activity area, accessible garden beds, and a perimeter nature walk with outdoor learning zone. Project also includes gates waste area and half court basketball. b. General and Subcontract Bids shall consist of but are not limited to: general construction, all costs for the completing of total project and should be itemized and broken into phase 1 patio/field activity area and phase 2 perimeter nature walking. c. Contractor shall provide all guarantees and warranties required by the contract documents and the State of Connecticut. d. A pre-bid walk through is available on Thursday, February 25th at 3:00 p.m. 3. The work for phase one will be completed spring 2021, and the work for phase two in spring 2022. 4. This project may be funded in part by federal funds and thus, be subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and the payment of federal prevailing wages. Bids should be provided both with prevailing wages and standard rate of pay. 5. Contractor and subcontractors must not be debarred or suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in the Federal assistance programs under Executive Order 12549, “Debarment and Suspension.” 6. Questions regarding the bid or the Contract Documents may be directed to Linda Iovanna or Marcy Goodman, 860-342-0700. 7. Addenda will be issued via email to respondents. 8. All bid proposals must be submitted on the designated forms. MARC Community Resources, LTD reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bids must be filled out when submitted. 9. If funded by federal funds, after MARC review, bid may be submitted to the City of Middletown for review and final approval of selection. 10. Prospective bidders shall hold the proper insurances. 11. The contractor shall be required to submit with the Bid a schedule of Values on AIA Document G703. The Schedule of Values shall include all individual specification sections and the contract documents.
