INVITATION TO BIDDERS Proposals for general contracting services will be received by The Greater Carbondale YMCA until 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022. The Greater Carbondale YMCA Community Park: Splash Pad Project Work will include, but is not necessarily limited to furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for completing the following scope of work: rough and finish grading; installation of a mechanical building; electrical and plumbing service; fencing; paver patio; landscaping; topsoil placement and seeding; signage; and other work associated with improvements at the site. Beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022, contract documents and submission instructions may be obtained digitally by contacting Thomas J. McLane and Associates, Paul Bechtel, at pbechtel@mclane associates.com. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name, email and address are on record as having obtained contract documents. Prevailing Wage Rates Apply to this Project. Bid submissions require a 10% bid bond. Performance, Labor and Materials, and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Base Bid and any selected Add-Alternate Bids must be furnished within ten days of the notice of award for companies licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A pre-bid conference will be held at the project site (behind Little Nikki’s at the Ben Mar, 89 North Main Street, Carbondale, PA 18407) at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
