INVITATION TO BIDDERS RAMP & PAVING MARC COMMUNITY

INVITATION TO BIDDERS RAMP & PAVING MARC COMMUNITY RESOURCES, LTD MIDDLETOWN, CT MARC Community Resources, LTD will receive sealed bids until 4:00 PM, prevailing local time on Monday, April 19, 2021 at MARC Community Resources, LTD, 25 Industrial Park Rd, Middletown, CT 06457 at which time they will be opened and read. 1. All bids shall be sealed and clearly labeled Ramp & Paving for MARC Community Resources, LTD. Attn: Linda Iovanna. 2. Work required pursuant to this contract includes the following: a. Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals necessary for the renovation of accessible ramp and construction of overhead canopy and paving repairs including line striping, and moving ADA stalls. b. Completed work must be ADA compliant. c. Contractor shall provide all guarantees and warranties required by the contract documents and the State of Connecticut. 3. The work of this contract must commence by 5/10/21 and be substantially complete before June 30, 2021. 4. This project is partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the City of Middletown and is therefore subject to the Davis-Bacon Act requiring the payment of federal prevailing wages. 5. Contractor and subcontractors must not be debarred or suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in the Federal assistance programs under Executive Order 12549, “Debarment and Suspension.” 6. A walkthrough of the project is available to any bidder on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. when project details will be discussed, and questions answered. 8. All bid proposals must be submitted on the designated forms. Please contact Linda Iovanna, linda.iovanna@marc-cr.org or Marcy Goodman, marcy.goodman@marc-cr.org for a copy of the RFQ. MARC Community Resources, LTD reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All bids must be completely filled out when submitted. 9. After MARC review, bids are submitted to the City of Middletown for review and final approval of selection. 10. Prospective bidders need to have had a minimum of 10 years’ experience in providing work similar in scope and shall hold the proper insurances. 11. The contractor shall be required to submit with the Bid a schedule of Values on AIA Document G703. The Schedule of Values shall include all individual specification sections and the contract documents.
