NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Pursuant to resolution adopted by the Town Board, The Town of Babylon, Commissioner of General Services, Division of Purchasing will receive sealed proposals for:

Until 10:00 AM on THURSDAY, MAY 20, 2021 at Babylon Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst, New York, 11757, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Division of Purchasing office. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the above address. Bids will not be accepted after 10:00 A.M. on the date of bid opening. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED. Do not remove any pages, all bids are to be submitted intact. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town is still not conducting public bid openings. All bidders shall be permitted to call in as bid’s are read aloud. The call in number is 631-201-4397 code 3052Bidding and contract documents may be obtained on the Town’s website, https://bidsapp.townofbabylon.com on and after 9:00 AM on THURSDAY, APRIL 29, 2021.
Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Babylon, in the amount of, five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.
NOTE: AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM APPROVED BY THE NYS DEPT. OF LABORIS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROJECTS IN EXCESS OF $250,000.00. THIS REQUIREMENT APPLIES TO ALL PRIME CONTRACTS AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE SUB-CONTRACTS, REGARDLESS OF THE SUBCONTRACT AMOUNT, FOR ALL TRADES NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE WORK. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT, MAY BE CAUSE FOR YOUR BID TO BE REJECTED.
