SUPPLEMENTAL NOTICE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP No. PW-T62502-01D
The Nassau County Department of Public Works has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for professional services
in connection with the following:
Nassau County Department of Public Works
Nassau County Crash Analysis
Prioritization System (NCCAPS)
Contract Number T62502-01D
The County of Nassau through the Department of Public Works requests proposals from qualified individuals and entities authorized to do business in the State of New York, to develop a Nassau County Crash Analysis Prioritization System (NCCAPS). This contract will result in the development of a geospatially-based online platform to provide an electronic analysis system to analyze crash history on existing County roadways in conjunction with complaints received. This information will be used to identify problem locations, prioritize roadways for assessment, and aid in the development of long- and short-term engineering solutions.
Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted.

Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. Vendors may register at https://www.nassaucountyny.gov/3153/e-Services by clicking on the “Vendor Portal Registration”. In addition, any vendor submitting an offer for this solicitation should submit the required vendor disclosures in the Vendor Portal as well.
Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The firm selected for this work will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of 2,000,000 and 1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively.
The successful Proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of Local Law No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts” and Local Law 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts.” All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local Law 14-2002 and Title 82 of the Miscellaneous Laws of Nassau County which contains the requirements of Local Law 2-2016. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposer’s plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002 and Local Law 2-2016.

A conference call with prospective bidders will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 25, 2021 to discuss the project. Please e-mail Chris Liberti at CLiberti@nassaucountyny.gov to be added to the invite list for the conference call.
