SUNY Maritime College will receive sealed Proposals for Project No. 211005 titled Construct Seamanship Center, until 12:00 p.m. Local Time on August 26, 2021 where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bid responses must be submitted in a sealed envelope and mailed or delivered to the following address: The College at Maritime, Bid Reference #SMC-008-2021, Attn: Peter Fountis, Purchasing Department, 6 Pennyfield Avenue, Throggs Neck, NY 10465. The Contractor shall complete all work necessary for substantial completion within 12 months from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The campus project specific MWBE goals for this project are 23% MBE, 7% WBE and 6% SDVOB. A pre-bid conference and mandatory project walk through will be held on July 26, 2021 with all contractors assembled at 10:30 a.m. at the Pier entrance, SUNY Maritime College, 6 Pennyfield Avenue, Bronx NY 10465. Bidding and Contract Documents may be downloaded free of charge by sending an email request to: Satnarine Sukhdeo (SSukhdeo@landowarchitects.com). Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
