NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Pursuant to resolution adopted by the Town Board, The Town of Babylon, Commissioner of General Services, Division of Purchasing will receive sealed proposals for:
BID NO. 21G84, FURNISH & ISNTALL AN ELECTRONIC DOOR
ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM, SALTO OR EQUAL
Until 10:00 AM on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2021 at Babylon Town Hall, 200 E. Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst, New York, 11757, at which time they will be publicly opened and read in the Division of Purchasing office. Bids may be hand delivered or mailed to the above address. Bids will not be accepted after 10:00 A.M. on the date of bid opening. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE GRANTED. Do not remove any pages, all bids are to be submitted intact. Bidding and contract documents may be obtained on the Town’s website, https://bidsapp.townofbabylon.com on and after 9:00 AM on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2021.
Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond made payable to the Town of Babylon, in the amount of, five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid.
NOTE: AN APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM APPROVED BY THE NYS DEPT. OF LABOR
IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PROJECTS IN EXCESS OF 250,000.00. THIS REQUIREMENT APPLIES TO ALL PRIME CONTRACTS AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE SUB-CONTRACTS, REGARDLESS OF THE SUBCONTRACT AMOUNT, FOR ALL TRADES NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE WORK. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT, MAY BE CAUSE FOR YOUR BID TO BE REJECTED.
This project may be funded in part with funds through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (“ARPA”). All bidders are required to comply with all “ARPA” regulations, including, but not limited to compliance with the Davis Bacon Act.
