The Viscardi Center, Henry Viscardi School & Abilities, Inc. (Owner) located at 201 I.U. Willets Road, Albertson, New York is seeking Nassau County licensed electrical and emergency generator contractors, to bid on a replacement 80KW diesel emergency generator with a new 80KW gas generator including work on the replacement of the transfer switch. Contractors must be bonded and insured and have proof of similar projects.
There will be a walk through on Thursday, October 14th at 4:00pm at which time specifications will be handed out. All interested Vendors must contact Maureen Begina, Purchasing Manager at 516-465-1558 or mbegina@viscardicenter.org by Wednesday, October 13th at 12:00pm to register.
To be eligible for the walk through all individuals must comply with The Viscardi Center’s Covid-19 policies and procedures, including evidence of vaccination or proof of negative testing.
Participants will also complete a daily health questionaire and a mask is to be worn throughout the walk through. If you are unable to meet these requirements, you will not be permitted entry.
Bids are due on Tuesday, October 26th at 10:30am, bids will be virtually opened at 11:00am.
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid which it deems to be most favorable to the interest of the Owner. No bid shall be withdrawn pending the decision of the Owner. Bids may be emailed or mailed to:
