The State University Construction Fund will receive sealed Proposals for Project No. 211028-00, Upgrade Electrical Distribution for New Ship Phase 2 at SUNY Maritime College until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on February 16th, 2022 at the Fund’s Office at H. Carl McCall SUNY Building, 353 Broadway, Albany NY 12246, where such proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud in Room S201.
The Contractor shall complete all work necessary for substantial completion within 300 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
The Fund’s project specific goals for this project are 5% MBE and 5% WBE and 3% SDV.
A pre-bid conference and project walkthrough will be held on January 27th, 2022 with all contractors assembled at SUNY Maritime College, 6 Pennyfield Avenue, Throggs Neck, NY 10465, outside of the Welcome Center at 10:00 am.

On the DATAFLOW home page, select CLIENT PROJECTS. Under PUBLIC PROJECTS, click on RMF ENGINEERING, INC.
Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding may be obtained from the Consultant upon receipt of a payment of 49.00 for a printed copy or $10 for an electronic copy, made payable to the Consultant, for each complete set. The Fund waives fees and deposits for sets of the Contract Documents requested by NYS certified Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise.
Bids must be submitted in duplicate in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. Each bid must be identified, on the outside of the envelope, with the name and address of the bidder and designated a bid for the Project titled above. When a sealed bid is placed inside another delivery jacket, the bid delivery jacket must be clearly marked on the outside “BID ENCLOSED”. It is the policy of the State of New York and the Fund to encourage minority/women’s business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
The Fund reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
