REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP No. PW-S3P312-04M
The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for construction management services in connection with the following:
REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HARWOOD DRIVE EJECTOR STATION AND SOUTHRIDGE DRIVE PUMP STATION IN THE CITY OF GLEN COVE
The Department of Public Works desires to retain a Firm to provide Construction Management Services in connection with the Repairs and improvements to the Harwood Drive Ejector Station and Southridge Drive Pump Station project in the City of Glen Cove.
Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 4:00 P.M. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. Interestedfirms may attend a site walkthrough at 11:00AM on February 15, 2022. Prospective proposers are to meet at the Harwood Drive Ejector Station, located near the intersection of Harwood Drive and Woolsey Avenue in Glen Cove. Attendees are required to wear hard hats, safety vests, safetyglasses, and face coverings during the walk through.

Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to allregistered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals.

Proposals should only be submitted after careful examination of the complete RFP and its requirements. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively.
The successful Proposer will be required to comply with the requirements of Local Law No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts” and Local Law 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts”. All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local Law 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002.
