The State University of New York at Stony Brook will receive bids for project number 21/22-117MC titled; Chavez and Tubman Leak Mitigation-Roofing Repairs Until 12:00p.m. local time on 4/27/2022 at Research & Support Services Building, Suite 100, Research & Development Park, Stony Brook, N.Y. 11794.
All work on this Contract is to be completed within 120 days after the date of the Notice to Proceed”)
Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following location beginning on 3/30/2022.

Section 143 of the State Finance Law requires payment of a deposit to receive these documents. Accordingly, a deposit check of 49.00 made payable to “IFR 910635-00” is required. Deposits less than 50.00 are nonrefundable.
There will be a one-time, mandatory site visit for perspective bidders scheduled for 4/13/2022 at 10:00am at Tubman Hall, Multi-Purpose Room, 250 Circle Road, on the West Campus of Stony Brook University. Only those contractors who attend the site visit will be eligible to bid on this project.
Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid.
It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy.
The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
