Notice to Bidders
On behalf of a cooperative of certain school districts in Suffolk County, the Board of Education of the Amityville Union Free School District, Towns of Babylon and Oyster Bay, Suffolk and Nassau Counties of New York, (the Lead School District) in accordance with Section 103 of General Municipal Law, Hereby invites the submission of sealed bids from reputable and qualified contractors for the provision of labor and materials for the following contract:
COOPERATIVE BID FOR TREE MAINTENANCE
(PRUNING & REMOVAL SERVICES)
This is a Cooperative bid.
Participating school districts are as follows:
Amityville, Cold Spring Harbor, Commack, Copiague, Hauppauge, Islip, Middle Country, Miller Place, North Babylon, Port Jefferson, Rocky Point, Smithtown, South Huntington, South Hampton, West Islip, Western Suffolk BOCES
Bids will be received until 2:00 P.M., APRIL 12, 2022 at the Business Office of the Amityville Union Free School District located at 150 Park Avenue, Amityville, NY 11701, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. In the event of a school closure, the proposals will be opened on the next business day that school is in session. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the same office beginning March 28, 2022 Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, excluding holidays. The Boards of Education reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept part of any bid.
