LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Architect Project Information CSArch Architecture Engineering Construction Management, D.P.C. Watervliet City School District 2020 Capital Project 40 Beaver Street SED# 01-12-00-01-0-001-015 Albany, NY 12207 SED# 01-12-00-01-0-006-013 The Owner, Watervliet City School District, will receive separate sealed bids to furnish materials and labor to complete the 2020 Capital Project. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contract(s): Contract No. 02 – General Construction (GC) Contract No. 03 – Mechanical/Plumbing Construction (MPC) Contract No. 04 – Electrical Construction (EC) Contract No. 06 – Roofing Construction (RC) Two copies of sealed bids will be received until 3:30 PM Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the Watervliet City School District Offices, Watervliet Jr/Sr High School, addressed and delivered Attention: Bernadette Boardman, District Clerk. Bids received after this time will not be accepted and returned to the Bidder unopened. Bidding/Contract Documents (drawings and specifications) may be examined on and after March 1, 2021 free of charge at the following location by appointment only: CSArch Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, D.P.C. 40 Beaver Street Albany, New York 12107 518-463-8068 It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets. Bidding Documents, Drawings and Specifications, may be viewed online free of charge beginning March 1, 2021 at under “public projects,â€? or electronically downloaded for a non-refundable charge of forty-nine dollars ($49.00). Complete sets of Bidding Documents, Drawings and Specifications, on compact disc (CD) may be obtained from Rev, 330 Route 17A, Goshen, New York 10924 Tel: 877-272-0216, upon depositing the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each combined set of documents. Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Watervliet City School District. 1. Deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Instructions to Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring (CD’s) to be shipped shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. 2. Any bidder requiring paper copies of the Bidding Documents, Drawings and Specifications shall make arrangements directly with the printer and pay for all printing, packaging and shipping costs. Such costs are non-refundable. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available on  Each Bidder must deposit a Bid Security in the amount and form per the conditions provided in Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the Bid opening. Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. By submission of a bid, each bidder and each person signing on behalf of any bidder certifies, and in the case of a joint bid each party thereto certifies as to its own organization, under penalty of perjury, that to the best of its knowledge and belief that each bidder is not on the list created pursuant to paragraph (b) of subdivision 3 of section 165-a of the state finance law. The award of bid pursuant to this notice is subject appropriation of funds for this purpose in accordance with the applicable provisions of the General Municipal Law. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal law of the State of New York and all other applicable statues and have attached a statement of non-collusion. All documents submitted in connection with this bid will become the property of the Watervliet City School District will not return bids or bid documents. Contract(s) will be awarded by the Owner to the lowest responsible bidder(s). In cases where two or more responsible Bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Owner may award the Contract to either of such bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and re-advertise for new bids in its discretion and/or to waive any informality in any bid which is deems immaterial in nature. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, a Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this project. The Bidders must comply with New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedule and conditions of employment. Bids shall not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials and supplies incorporated into the Work, the Owner being exempt therefrom. The Watervliet City School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject all Bids without explanation.
