LEGAL NOTICE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR NORTHERN TIER SOLID WASTE AUTHORITY LANDFILL #2 BID FOR PROTECTIVE MATERIAL INVITATION TO BID SEPTEMBER 2021 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority (hereinafter referred to as “Owner”) is accepting sealed bids for the supply and delivery of non-carbonate Protective material for the at the OWNER’s Landfill #2 located in West Burlington Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania 16947. Bidders must review all specifications in detail. All bids will be on forms provided by Owner. All envelopes containing bids shall be clearly marked: “Bid for Stone Supply for Protective Material.” Bidders must review and comply with the Bid Documents and Specifications. A brief description of the contract number: Delivery and Supply of Triaxle Loads of Protective Cover meeting specs to be provided. Approximately 16,000 tons will be required. The Owner has the right to accept and/or reject any or all bids submitted in accordance herewith within sixty (60) days of the bid opening. Protective material bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, recent testing demonstrating that the material meets the specifications for gradation and carbonate content and after award provide a payment bond and a performance bond as provided in Pennsylvania law. The Owner reserves the right to waive any formalities as permitted by law. Bids submitted after bid opening will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any purpose. The bid form may be obtained by contacting Micah Baker of NTSWA at mbaker@ntswa.org. Sealed Bids will be received in the Owner’s West Burlington Township Offices located at 108 Steam Hollow Road, Troy, Pennsylvania 16947 until Tuesday September 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Bids will be opened at that time. Bids will be considered for acceptance at the Owner’s Special meeting to take place on Wednesday September 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. 29aug,1tc
