LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF AMESBURY Invitation for Bids Mowing Services The City of Amesbury through its Department of Public Works is seeking sealed bids for Project CY2021 Mowing Services. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools and equipment necessary for the complete and satisfactory performance of mowing and trimming grass areas in Amesbury’s public cemeteries and parks. Prevailing wages DO NOT apply. Bid documents containing specifications, requirements, and conditions will be available after 12:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 by sending an email to manorp@amesburyma.gov. For more information or questions regarding bid specifications, please contact the DPW via the aforementioned email. Questions will not be received after noon on Friday, April 23, 2021. An Optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. April 15, 2021 at 39 South Hunt Road and a tour will follow. Sealed bids received at the Department of Public Works, 39 South Hunt Road, Amesbury, MA 01913 must be clearly marked, to include company name, address, project name and number on the front. Bid deadline is 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Bids will be opened and read publically in the Conference Room at the DPW. The bid shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
