LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF MILFORD Office of the Purchasing Agent 70 West River Street Milford, CT 06460 Tel (203) 783-3225 INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that sealed bids by which the City of Milford will contract for the Harborside Middle School RTU Replacement will be received in the Purchasing Agent’s Office until 3:00 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2022 as determined by the Purchasing Office’s clock. Bids will not be opened publicly, however results will be posted to the City’s website by the close of business on March 10, 2022. A NON-MANDATORY pre-bid meeting between prospective bidders and the Architect will convene in the lobby of Harborside Middle School, 175 High Street, Milford, CT on February 20, 2022 at 4:15 pm when project details will be discussed A bid bond for five percent (5%) of the base bid cost is required and must accompany each proposal. Bids must be held firm for one hundred twenty (120) days beyond the bid opening date. The successful bidder must file a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond, a one hundred percent (100%) Labor & Materials Bond and a Certificate of Insurance with the Purchasing Agent within ten (10) days of notice of bid award. Plans, Specifications, and Addenda for this project will only be available on the City of Milford website at www.ci.milford.ct.us .
