LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS TWEED-NEW HAVEN AIRPORT AUTHORITY TWEED-NEW HAVEN REGIONAL AIRPORT ACQUIRE ARFF VEHICLE Specifications and Bid Documents for the Acquire ARFF Vehicle at the Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport for the Tweed-New Haven Airport Authority, are expected to be available on Thursday, April 1, 2021. Interested parties may obtain copies of the bid proposal package by calling Tweed-New Haven Regional Airport at telephone no. (203) 466-8833, Ext. 1002 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or by emailing fsuriel@flytweed.com on Thursday April 1, 2021. Sealed bids will be received at the above address until 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday April 27, 2021. They will then be opened and read. Awards will not be made to any bidder whose name appears on a debarred list from performing contracts for the Federal Government, the State of Connecticut or any agency of the foregoing. The proposed contract is under and subject to Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1965 and to the Equal Opportunity Clause. The Tweed-New Haven Airport Authority, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Non-discrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
