LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID DAN COSGROVE ANIMAL SHELTER Enterprise Builders Inc. (“EBI”), acting as Construction Manager for the Town of Branford, will receive qualified sub-contractor proposals for the work associated with the project known as the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter (the “Project”). Bids shall be addressed to Enterprise Builders, Inc. C/O Tyechia Pettway Purchasing Clerk and will be received at the Finance Office on the second floor of Branford Town Hall, 1019 Main Street, Branford, CT 06405 until 1:30PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021 on the second floor of Branford Fire Headquarters, 45 North Main Street. Face coverings will be required to enter both buildings. The project includes a major renovation to an existing 2,600 SF animal shelter, with a 3,000 SF addition. The project is designed to be better equipped to serve animals and people, and to promote animal health, human safety, animal safety, and adoptions. There are 27 bid packages available, including: Selective Demolition, Final Cleaning, Sitework, Fencing, Landscaping, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Rough Carpentry, Finish Carpentry/Casework, Insulation, Roofing, Siding, Glazing, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Drywall, Flooring, Painting, Acoustical Ceilings, Signage, Lockers, Toilet Accessories, Residential Appliances, Window Treatments, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. Bid package instructions and forms will be issued via addendum. A non-mandatory subcontractor pre-bid walkthrough will occur on Tuesday, May 4th 2021 at 10:00 AM.
