LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID HAMILTON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TERMINAL HANGAR REHABILITATION NYSDOT PINs 2915.68 & 2MA221.30A (D027629) Contract #01 – General Construction (GC) Contract #02 – HVAC Mechanical Materials Only (MC) Contract #03 – Electrical Construction (EC) Contract #04 – Plumbing Materials Only (PC) Contract #05 – Roofing Construction (RC) Sealed bid Proposals for the above referenced project at the Hamilton Municipal Airport will be accepted at the Village of Hamilton Offices, 3 Broad Street, Hamilton, New York, until 1:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at which time, in the said office, all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud via live video conference. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. The time of receiving and opening bids may be postponed due to emergencies and unforeseen conditions. The public bid-opening video conference can be viewed by accessing the following web address: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89835169622?pwd=b3pNd1BWMitoTFoyV3UrVEdTWFMxUT09 Bids must be submitted in a SEALED envelope, clearly marked with the project title and AIP number, the bidder’s name, the bidder’s address, and the time and date of the opening of bids as specified above. Bids submitted by FedEx, UPS, or other parcel delivery service shall have the SEALED envelope containing the Bid Proposal placed inside the shipping carton. PROJECT LOCATION: Hamilton Municipal Airport, 6610 Wings Way, Hamilton, NY 13346 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The project generally includes the rehabilitation of the existing terminal hangar building including but not limited to replacement of existing utilities, abatement and demolition of the existing terminal building, construction of a new terminal building, roofing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, site excavation, paving work, maintenance and protection of traffic, aggregate base course installation, hot-mix asphalt pavement installation, pavement markings and miscellaneous fencing and gate work at Hamilton Municipal Airport. The project also includes coordination with public utilities, and relocation of overhead and underground utilities including coordination with electric power, water sanitary sewer, natural gas, and communication utility companies. Contract #1 – General Construction (GC) – Provide all labor, and furnish and install all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the “Aâ€? and “ADâ€?-series architectural, “Sâ€?-series structural, and “CSâ€?, “CPâ€?, “DEâ€?, “SPâ€?, “UTâ€? and “DTâ€? site/civil drawings and specifications, unless otherwise indicated. Contract #2 – HVAC Mechanical Materials Only (MC) – Furnish all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the “Mâ€?-series mechanical drawings and specifications. The Village of Hamilton is responsible for installation of furnished materials, equipment, and associated accessories. Contract #2 HVAC Mechanical Materials Only does require a bid bond, but does not require a performance bond, and does not need to meet the requirements of Section F Special Provision – Insurance Requirements. Contract #3 – Electrical Construction (EC) – Provide all labor and furnish and install all materials, equipment, and associated accessories specifically related to the fire alarm system, video surveillance and access control system, and lightning protection system, as shown or described in the “Eâ€?-series electrical drawings and specifications. For all other electrical work, furnish all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the “Eâ€?-series electrical drawings and specifications, unless otherwise indicated. The Village of Hamilton is responsible for installation of furnished materials, equipment, and associated accessories (excluding the fire alarm system, video surveillance and access control system, and lightning protection system). Contract #4 – Plumbing Materials Only (PC) – Furnish all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the “Pâ€?-series plumbing drawings and specifications. The Village of Hamilton is responsible for installation of furnished materials, equipment, and associated accessories. Contract #4 Plumbing Materials Only does require a bid bond, but does not require a performance bond, and does not need to meet the requirements of Section F Special Provision – Insurance Requirements. Contract #5 – Roofing Construction (RC) – Provide all labor, and furnish and install all materials, equipment, and associated accessories as shown or described in the “Aâ€? & “ADâ€? series architectural drawings and specifications specifically related to the Hangar Roof including but not limited to removal of the existing hangar roof, abatement, infill and patching of mechanical roof vent and existing hangar door structural roof penetrations, and installation of new roof insulation, vapor barrier, blocking, fascia and new EPDM hangar roof. PROPOSAL SURETY: All bids must be accompanied by a Proposal Surety (Bid Bond or other instrument as described in the Instructions to Bidders). COPIES OF PLANS: Bid Documents including Plans, Specifications, Proposals, and Addendums (if issued) may be downloaded free of charge in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, as outlined below. Bid proposals must be made upon and in accordance with the Bid Proposal Forms contained in Section C – Proposal Form. No hard copies of the plans and specifications will be provided. Bidders are responsible for checking the above website for all project updates including Addenda. PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS THE BIDDER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO OBTAIN ALL BID DOCUMENTS (INCLUDING ADDENDA) ON THE MCFARLAND JOHNSON BID PORTAL. Bidders must supply all the information required by the bid proposal forms.
