LEGAL NOTICE Notice to Bidders Building Heating System Replacement Sealed bids for the purchase by the Morrisville Fire District for a Building Heating System Replacement will be received via First Class U.S. Mail only, at the Morrisville Fire Districtâs Office, P.O. Box 1111, Morrisville, New York 13408 until 5:00 PM on April 16, 2021. The bids for the Building Heating System Replacement will be opened and publicly read aloud at 7:00 PM on April 19, 2021. at the Morrisville Fire Hall, 50 East Main Street, Morrisville, New York 13408. No decision need be made on such date. Specifications and additional information for the Building Heating System Replacement can be obtained by interested suppliers free of charge via email or phone by contacting Richard Smith, northernmechanical@twcny.rr.com 315-825-5498. For building access please call Mike Bischoff at 315-684-9628. All bids must be submitted in duplicate printed form, as well as in electronic form saved on a CD or flash drive. All bids must also include a signed Affidavit of Non-Collusion, and be presented in the form accompanying the specifications. No bids shall be withdrawn, either before or within Sixty (60) days after the bid opening, without the express written consent of the Morrisville Fire District. All bids must be in sealed separate envelopes specifically marked âMorrisville Fire District Bidâ? and received via First Class U.S. Mail only at the Morrisville Fire Districtâs Office, P.O. Box 1111 Morrisville, New York 13408 by 5:00 PM, April 16, 2021. The Fire District will not permit electronic bid submissions. The Morrisville Fire District expressly reserves the right to: (1) waive any irregularities in a responsive bid proposal; (2) accept any bid proposal; (3) reject any and all bid proposals; and (4) award a contract to other than the lowest bidder if the interests of the Fire District so require. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Fire District, its consultants, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid proposal. The bidder is required to furnish cash, certified check, bank draft or surety bond for at least 10% of the bid amount to secure the signing of a contract, the same to be returned if the award is made to another bidder. Bids will be binding for a period of Sixty days (60) subsequent to bid opening. Acceptance of the winning bid by the Morrisville Fire District is contingent upon voter approval of the Building Heating System Replacement purchase at a public referendum, and the ability of the Fire District to secure funding for the purchase.
