Legal Notice Request for Proposal Regional School District No. 17 Killingworth Elementary School Boiler Piping Redesign SEALED PROPOSALS will be received until 3:00 PM Thursday June 3rd, 2021, at the Office of the Superintendent, 57 Little City Road, Higganum, CT 06441 at which time they will be opened and read aloud for Killingworth Elementary School Boiler Piping Redesign. The building is open by appointment, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Please contact John Mercier, Director of Operations, (jmercier@rsd17.org) to schedule a drop off of the proposal. Proposals received after the above date and time will be rejected. Proposals are to be submitted in duplicate and accompanied by a 5% bid bond, cash, bank, or certified check, which will be returned to bidders that are not awarded the contract. There will be a Pre-Bid Briefing at Killingworth Elementary School, 340 Route 81, Killingworth, CT 06419 on Monday May 24th 2021 at 10:00 AM; followed by a Pre-Bid Tour of the building at 10:15 AM. Attendance for the walkthrough is non-mandatory, although attendance is strongly encouraged. Questions regarding the bid for the Contract Document must be asked no later than Thursday May 27th, 2021. The Office of the Superintendent reserves the right to reject any, or any part of, or all proposals; to waive informalities and technicalities and to accept the Proposal (bid) which the School District deems to be in the best interest of the District, whether or not it is the lowest dollar amount.
