LEGAL NOTICE REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) SUB-BID PREQUALIFICAITONS ELECTRICAL ONLY FOR EARLY BID PACKAGE #1 The City of Lawrence (the “Owner”) is seeking Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Filed Sub-Bid Electrical contractors for Early Package #1: Sitework, Demo, Abatement ONLY. Contractor Qualification: DCAMM certificate. Full project is addition to and renovation of the existing Oliver Elementary School at 183 Haverhill Street to create K-8 1,000-student educational complex (estimated construction cost for full project $105M). This RFQ is to prequalify Electrical Trade Contractors in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149A, § 8 and 810 AMR 10.00 for Early Package #1 ONLY. Responses received from eligible subcontractors will be used to pre-qualify firms for participation in response to a Request for Bids. Qualifications from vendors are to be submitted electronically to deborah.marai@anseradvisory.com and are due on or before 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Go to www.biddocsonline. com and click on the “Bidding” tab at the top and then click on the “Solicitations” tab at the left and click on “Current Listings” and on the RFQ name. Once on the RFQ page, click on the RFQ Form icon at the left to view the RFQ. All proposals submitted in response to this Request for Qualifications will be evaluated and prequalified in accordance with the provisions established under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149A. Vendors will be required to abide by the guidelines established under this statute.
