LEGAL NOTICE Sealed proposals will be received by: Towanda Borough of Bradford County, Pa., at 724 Main Street P.O. Box 229, Towanda, PA 18848 until 4:00 PM, on April 4, 2022 to be opened on April 4, 2022 at 7:00 PM at Towanda Borough Municipal Building 724 Main Street P.O. Box 229, Towanda, PA 18848 For the following: Paving Project Contract: Contractor is to furnish and place approx. 1,258 ton of 19mm Asphalt Binder, Fine Graded, approx. 1,834 ton of 9.5mm Asphalt Wearing Course, perform approx. 6,945 SY of 3 milling, perform approx. 15,191 SY of 2 milling, and furnish and place approx. 20 ton of as directed base repairs. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required of all bidders for each contract. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of workers compensation insurance will be required within 20 days of receiving notice of being awarded the bid to each contract. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages are applicable to this project.
