LEGAL NOTICE THROOP BOROUGH 436 SANDERSON STREET THROOP, PA 18512 THROOP – SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT SR 0347 DUNMORE STREET FROM DUDLEY ST TO GEORGE ST THROOP BOROUGH, LACKAWANNA COUNTY, PA ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the THROOP SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT SR 0347 DUNMORE STREET FROM DUDLEY ST TO GEORGE ST will be received online via the PennBid Program, by THROOP BOROUGH, until 11:00 AM local time on March 2, 2023, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of the replacement of one sanitary manhole and installation of 134 feet of 12-inch diameter SDR-35 PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe including temporary by-pass pumping, replacement of 77 feet of corrugated metal arch storm pipe with 15″ diameter plastic storm pipe, temporary and permanent asphalt base repair, asphalt milling and paving, erosion control, temporary traffic control during construction and related work in the Borough of Throop, Lackawanna County. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.procureware. com. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM on February 23, 2023, at the Project Site – intersection of Dunmore Street with George Street and Delaware Street in Throop Borough. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates A PENNDOT HOP permit applies. Contractor will be responsible for providing required PENNDOT testing. Contractor will be responsible for PENNDOT inspection coordination and costs.
