NOTICE TO BIDDERS UPLAND BOROUGH Sealed bids will be received by Upland Borough, 224 Castle Avenue, Upland, PA 19015, Delaware County, PA until 10:00A.M. on January 10, 2022 which time and place all sealed bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud for MacQueen Hall Addition Rebid. Mandatory pre bid meeting will be held at 224 Castle Avenue, Upland, PA 19015 at 10 AM on January 4, 2022. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.net at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of ¼ % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Upland Borough, must accompany each bid. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions, Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, Section 3 of the Housing & Community Development Act, various insurance requirements, Central Contractors Registration, Public Works Employment Verification, various equal opportunity provisions, the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Borough.
