“March 4, 2022 – The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District requests sealed bids for Bid Package 3, Exterior Renovations & Upgrades at Beaumont Elementary School, Devon Elementary School, Hillside Elementary School, New Eagle Elementary School, Tredyffrin Easttown Middle School, and Valley Forge Middle School (Project # 21-036.03). Sealed bids will be received electronically via PennBid. The project consists of general construction renovations and upgrades to exterior of Beaumont Elementary School (BES), Devon Elementary School (DES), Hillside Elementary School (HES), New Eagle Elementary School (NEES), Tredyffrin Easttown Middle School (TEMS), Valley Forge Middle School (VFMS). Including, but not limited to, localized masonry rebuild, localized masonry repointing, repair of coping stones, and shelf angle rehabilitation at BES, DES, HES, NEES, TEMS, and VFMS; Sidewalk and concrete pad repairs at DES, HES, and VFMS; Paving and curb repairs at NEES and VFMS; Concrete wall repair at NEES and VFMS; and Repair of canopies at VFMS. Bids are to be received electronically before 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 4, 2022, at which time bids will be opened on the PennBid website with results displayed publicly. The results will also be read aloud at the School District Administration Offices. The Board of School Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive errors or technical defects in the bid or bid forms. On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, detailed specifications, and requirements for bidding may be obtained at no cost on the PennBid website, www.PennBid.net. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Clarificationsâ€? tab on the PennBid website.
