NOTICE TO BIDDERS RUTLEDGE BOROUGH Online sealed bids will be received by Rutledge Borough online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.net until 10:00 AM, on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following projects: • 2022 Road Program – Major items include 2,388 SY of milling, 30 SY of base/trench repair and 240 TN of wearing course • HVAC Replacement Project All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.net at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for the HVAC Replacement Project will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022; 8:30AM at the Rutledge Borough building located at 212 Unity Terrace, Rutledge PA 19070. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Rutledge Borough, must accompany each bid. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates, the Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding as is in the best interest of the Borough.
