ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Sealed bids will be received online by West Goshen Township via PennBid until Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 at 11:30 A.M., at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Meeting Room of the West Goshen Township Building, 1025 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 for: WEST GOSHEN TOWNSHIP BOLMAR STREET CULVERT REPLACEMENT The project consists of the replacement of an existing 5-foot diameter riveted steel pipe under a portion of Bolmar Street approximately 408-feet Northwest of its intersection with Autopark Boulevard. The existing culvert will be replaced with twin 58 x 91-inch elliptical concrete pipes and two (2) new concrete endwalls. A portion of the existing gravity sanitary sewer and public water main will also be replaced as part of this project. All documents and details are available at PennBid – https://pennbid.procureware.com/home Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of West Goshen Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of West Goshen Township in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders provided on PennBid. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. West Goshen Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
