“March 7, 2023 – The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District requests sealed bids for Bid Package 3, Exterior Renovations and Upgrades at Exterior Renovations & Upgrades at Beaumont Elementary School (BES), Devon Elementary School (DES), New Eagle Elementary School (NEES), Valley Forge Elementary School (VFES), Tredyffrin Easttown Middle School (TEMS), Valley Forge Middle School (VFMS), and Conestoga High School (CHS). (Project # 22-011.03) Sealed bids will be received electronically via PennBid. The project consists of general construction renovations and upgrades to exterior of Beaumont Elementary School (BES), Devon Elementary School (DES), New Eagle Elementary School (NEES), Valley Forge Elementary School (VFES), Tredyffrin Easttown Middle School (TEMS), Valley Forge Middle School (VFMS), and Conestoga High School (CHS). Including, but not limited to, metal coping repairs on BES; stucco repair at BES and DES; sealant replacement and repairs at DES, NEES, TEMS and CHS; concrete footer repair at NEES; Paving and curb repairs and sidewalk ADA improvements at VFES and VFMS; bollard installation at CHS; and flagpole installation at VFES. Bids are to be received electronically before 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at which time bids will be opened on the PennBid website with results displayed publicly. The results will also be read aloud at the School District Administration Offices. The Board of School Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive errors or technical defects in the bid or bid forms. On Friday, February 3, 2023, detailed specifications, and requirements for bidding may be obtained at no cost on the PennBid website, www.PennBid.net. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Clarificationsâ€? tab on the PennBid website. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 7:00 A.M. at Valley Forge Elementary School Large Group Room, 99 Walker Road, Wayne, PA 19087.
