NOTICE TO BIDDERS FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP SEALED BIDS will be received by Franklin Township, Chester County at the Franklin Township Municipal Building, 20 Municipal Lane, Landenberg, PA 19350, until 11:00 AM prevailing time on February 14, 2023, for the Franklin Township Crossan Park and the Franklin Township Municipal Office. Bids will be publicly opened and read by Township Staff beginning at 11:15 AM and read in the order listed below. This bid contains a two-year contract extension period if agreeable by the Township and successful Contractor. •2023 ELWOOD L. CROSSAN PARK AND MUNICIPAL BUILDING MOWING SERVICES – Includes mowing, weed eating, weeding, edging, and mulching at the Elwood L. Crossan Park, located at 91 Parsons Road, Landenberg, PA, and the Franklin Township Municipal Building, located at 20 Municipal Lane, Landenberg, PA. Bidders are required to bid on both locations. The Board of Supervisors will award the contract at their regularly scheduled meeting on February 15, 2023, at 7 p.m. Bid documents can be obtained at the Franklin Township Municipal Building or via Franklin Township’s website www.franklintownship.us Bids shall be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township, with a performance surety and insurance, as described in the bid documents. The Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, or to award the contract which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Township. Bids received after the submission deadline will not be opened and will be considered void and unacceptable. Franklin Township is not responsible for lateness of mail, courier service, etc. The successful Contractor must provide a performance bond in an amount of 10% of the Contract and a certificate of insurance as outlined in the bid package within 2 weeks of receiving a notice of award.
