FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP INVITATION TO BID – 2023 OLD SCHOOL HOUSE ROAD (OSR) PROFILING AND SHOULDER GRADING PROJECT BID The Board of Supervisors of Franklin Township seeks bids for the 2023 Old School House Road Profiling And Shoulder Grading contract. Bid packages will be available for pick up at the Franklin Township building at 20 Municipal Lane, Landenberg, Pennsylvania weekdays from Monday 30 January 2023 to Friday 10 February 2023 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Alternatively, bids will be available online at www.franklintownship.us. A mandatory attendance pre-bid meeting will be held at the Township Building on Wednesday 8 February 2023 at 10 a.m. Sealed bids must be received by Franklin Township staff at the Township Office no later than 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday 15 February 2023 and identified by the “2023 Old School House Road Profiling and Shoulder Grading Project Bidâ€? in a sealed envelope. Bids will be opened at 11:15 a.m. The bids will be summarized and submitted to the Board of Supervisors for consideration at their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. that same day. The Board of Supervisors may award the contract at their regular meeting on 15 February 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The Board of Supervisors expects to conditionally pre-approve the contract award to facilitate timely execution of the award upon receipt of all bid bonds, insurance, etc. without waiting for the next monthly Board of Supervisors meeting. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its entirety or any part thereof. The Board also reserves the right to reduce the scope of work as necessary to meet budget and as a result, the Township may not be awarded all project tasks. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Franklin Township. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond and certificate of insurance as applicable within 10 business days of the bid award.
