PUBLIC NOTICE TOWNSHIP OF ABINGTON REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR Rubicam Avenue Sidewalk and Stormwater Improvement Project Design Services The Township of Abington, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (“Townshipâ€?) is seeking proposals from qualified consultants and firms to provide professional services related to the design, planning, and completion of the Township’s proposed FY2022 CDBG-funded project to improve and create sidewalk, curbing, and stormwater management along Rubicam Avenue in the Township. The Township is a federal entitlement community under the US Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The services requested by the Township are detailed in the RFP. Interested parties can obtain a copy of this RFP by visiting https://www.abingtonpa.gov/RFP. The following criteria, in order of importance, will be used to select the consultant for this project: 1. Qualifications, certifications, and previous experience in managing a housing rehabilitation program, housing rehabilitation projects and other construction programs. 2. Knowledge and understanding of HUD CDBG Standards and local building codes. 3. Cost of services. 4. Capacity of Respondent to complete services in a timely manner. 5. MBE, WBE or SERB designation.
