ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID THE DELAWARE COUNTY INTERMEDIATE UNIT BOARD OF DIRECTORS, MORTON, PA, DELAWARE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT sealed bids will be received by the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU), 200 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA 19070, for Asbestos Removal and Related Work at the Delaware County Technical High School – Folcroft Campus, 701 Henderson Blvd., Folcroft, PA 19032. All work incidentals thereto are in accordance with the requirements of the specifications and drawings prepared and supplied by Environmental Control Systems, Inc. Bids for the above Contract No. 1 will be received by the Designated Person for the Board of Education, Environmental Control Systems, Inc. at the DCIU Administrative Offices, 200 Yale Avenue, Morton, PA 19070, 12:00 PM (Prevailing Time), on March 3, 2023 and will be opened and evaluated for the next Public School Board Meeting. Drawings, Specifications and other contract Documents for the proposed work are on file in the office of Environmental Control Systems, Inc, at 950 Sussex Blvd, Broomall, PA 19008, 610-328-2880. Drawings and Specifications will be furnished for a fee of $50.00 US upon application to Environmental Control Systems, Inc. at the Mandatory Pre-Bid Walk-Through conference to be held at 3:00 PM, on February 27, 2023 at the DCIU’s Delaware County Technical High School – Folcroft Campus, 701 Henderson Blvd., Folcroft, PA 19032. Meet at the main entrance. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry and have Certifications to perform any type of asbestos work in accordance with the provisions of the ASBESTOS OCCUPATIONS ACCREDITATIONS and CERTIFICATION ACT. ACT 194-1990. All bidding shall be in conformance with Pennsylvania State Laws, pertaining to “Public School Contracts Lawâ€? and are required to comply with all requirements of Federal, State, Local and current Applicable EPA/DEP regulations. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive informality in the bidding process if it is in the interest of the Board of Directors to do so.
