Renovations and Addition to Aronimink Elementary School – Rebid Upper Darby School District Separate sealed Bids for Renovations and Addition to Aronimink Elementary School – Rebid, Upper Darby School District shall be received by Mr. Joseph McGilvery, Supervisor of Procurement Services until 10:00 am prevailing local time, April 6, 2021. Bids shall be received by the Upper Darby School District at the Upper Darby School District Administrative Office, 4611 Bond Ave, Drexel hill, PA 19026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 12:00 noon that same day via digital conferencing software. It is intended to award multiple prime contracts for the Work as follows: Contract No. 1 General Construction Contract No. 3 Plumbing Construction Contract No. 2 HVAC Construction Contract No. 4 Electrical Construction All Contractors must adhere to “Upper Darby School District Responsible Contractors Administrative Regulation No. 610-AR-1â€?. Bid directly to Owner as separate future bid: Contract No. 5 Environmental Abatement for Existing Building. Bidding Documents for contracts No. 1 – 4 will be available March 9, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Bidders are required to secure a complete set of Bidding Documents for all contracts. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be secured only at the offices of KCBA Architects by emailing (Phone: (215) 368- 5806) in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Project information is available at www.kcba A fee of two hundred dollars ($200), payable to the Architect, is required for one set of Bidding Documents via FTP Server Access. An additional non-refundable twenty-five dollar ($25 fee) will be required for each set of Bidding Documents on CD in .PDF electronic format, if the documents are to be mailed to the bidder. A separate bank check is required for the additional fee. No additional fee will be required for UPS or Federal Express delivery of documents if Bidder provides a valid account number for delivery service. Documents will not be released until fees are received at the Architect’s offices in cash or bank check. A pre-bid meeting for all prime contracts, GC, MC, PC, EC will be held via digital conferencing software on March 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm, link to be provided via bidding documents receipt. A self-guided building walkthrough will be held on March 17, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Each contractor is permitted one representative who is to enter and exit at the main entrance and identify themselves to District personnel. All contractors are required to wear face masks, gloves, and observe social distancing for the duration of the walkthrough. NO additional walkthroughs will be provided. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, money order or cashier’s good faith check payable to the Order of School District of Upper Darby or Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid, as security, Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit in the form set forth in the Bidding Documents. The right to waive any informality in any Bid, to reject any or all Bids or to award any Contract in the best interest of the Owner is reserved.
