NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED BIDS will be received by East Nantmeal Township of Chester County, at the East Nantmeal Township Municipal Building, 3383 Conestoga Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343 until 2:00 PM on May 12, 2021 for the 2021 Road Project, Contract #2, Oil & Chip. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 7:00 PM on May 12, 2021 at the Board of Supervisors Meeting. The project includes approx. 9,500 SY Double Application of Oil and Chip related work. Bid documents can be obtained at East Nantmeal Township Municipal Building, or electronically by request to eastnant@ptd.net. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Bids shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check and a 100% payment bond or certified check, both within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Bids must be made upon the forms furnished by the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. This project involves liquid fuels funding. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the Fed E-verify program to ensure employees are authorized to work in the U.S. per Act 127.
