NOTICE TO BIDDERS ALDAN BOROUGH DELAWARE COUNTY Proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by Aldan Borough, Delaware County until 4:00 P.M. (local time) Monday June 7, 2021, for the ALDAN BOROUGH 2021-2022 PennDOT MULTIMODAL TRANSPORTATION FUND PROGRAM LED STREETLIGHT AND LIGHT POLE REPLACEMENT PROJECT, Aldan Borough, Delaware County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The project consists of the replacement of 250 existing street light fixtures with LED street light fixtures and the replacement of 13 deteriorated light poles with new steel light poles within Aldan Borough. The new LED lights will be energy efficient LED light fixtures with NEMA photocell, high impact polycarbonate lens, and die-cast aluminum housing. The project also consists of the proper and lawful disposal of 13 light poles, existing light fixtures and bulbs, incidental wiring and light tenon modifications/adapters and traffic controls. All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Contractor who has been successfully awarded the contract shall complete work within sixty (60) days from the Notice to Proceed. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informality in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Borough.
