ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE Sealed bids will be received, publicly opened and considered by TOWNSHIP OF CHESTER on June 24, 2021 at 1:30 PM EST at 1150 Engle Street, Chester PA 19013 For 2021 Water Quality Stormwater Infrastructure Improvement Project Stormwater Management Inlet Repairs and Upgrades Plans, specifications, information for bidders and forms for proposals may be obtained or examined at TOWNSHIP OF CHESTER 1150 ENGLE STREET, CHESTER, PA 19013 Bids must be made on the forms furnished by the Owner and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of at least $20,000 (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Bidder’s attention is called to the fact that this project is assisted with PA Department of Transportation Liquid Fuels Funds, and various State requirements apply as noted in the bid documents, including but not limited to the PA-Prevailing Wage Act. Award of Contract will be to the lowest responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. DCT, June 1, June 4, a-1
