NOTICE TO BIDDERS Trainer Borough will receive bids online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until 2:00 PM on July 7, 2021 for the 2021 Road Program – Work includes milling, overlay, and base repair. Add alternates are included. Documents will be available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net at 9:00 am on June 24, 2021. Bids must include a certified check or bid bond, with corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in the amount of ten percent of the bid, as posted through PennBid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder. Bids received will be opened online and referred to the Borough for award. An abstract of the bids will be available on PENNBID at the date and time bids are due, as indicated above. Questions may be submitted through PennBid on or before Noon on July 2, 2021. Attention of Bidders is called to requirements contained in the bid packages, (ie insurance and the E-Verify Public Works Employment Verification Act). Trainer Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of, to waive informalities in the bidding, and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
