Willistown Township, Chester County, PA Chetwynd Road Drainage Mitigation Project Invitation to Bid Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Willistown Township will accept bids for the Chetwynd Rd Drainage Mitigation Project, Located at 21 & 23 Chetwynd Rd, Willistown Twp. The project generally consists of: 1.Restoring a severely eroded drainage swale (approx. 120 ft x 25 ft wide plus other transition grading totaling 2.Install a river rock or rip rap plunge pool around an existing inlet transition grading. 3.Restore new swale and all disturbed areas with topsoil, fertilizer, and SOD (approx. 7000 sf). 4.Reconstruct existing driveway with a new berm and replace approx. 14 LF x 4 ft of existing sidewalk Bid documents can be obtained in hard or electronic format by contacting Joanne Caso, 610-644-4254 Yerkes Assoc. Sealed Bids are due until 1:00 PM on Thurs August 12, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened & read aloud at the Township Building. Anticipated contract award is August 16, 2021. Sealed bids are to be addressed to Willistown Township and delivered to 688 Sugartown Road, Malvern, Pa., 19355. Hand-delivered sealed bids must be given to a Township Employee; (Bill Hagan, 610- 647-5300 Ext 240) from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, M to F, except Holidays A bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount is required. All bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting on Monday August 9, 2021 at 10:00AM at 21 Chetwynd Rd, Paoli, PA 19301. Prevailing wage rates apply. PA. Act 127 (Public Works Employment Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Insurance Certifications, including Workerâs Compensation Insurance.
