EJCDC C-111 City of Coatesville One City Hall Place, Coatesville, PA 19320 Palmer Park – Phases 2 & 3 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the Palmer Park – Phases 2 & 3 will be received by online by the City of Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania until 10:00 am local time on September 30, 2021. Online bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid program. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost except to the successful bidder at PennBid – www.PennBid.net. The Project consists of various site improvements to Palmer Park, which includes the following: •Demolition of existing play surface, asphalt pavement, gazebo, and timber walls/fencing •Installation of concrete sidewalk, curb, steps, ADA Ramp, and pavement restoration •Installation of park features such as gazebo, wood fiber fabric, site lighting, park table, bench, and timber retaining wall Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am local time on September 21, 2021, at the project site. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The City of Coatesville, Owner, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
