NOTICE TO BIDDERS UPPER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP DELAWARE COUNTY Sealed proposals will be received by Upper Providence Township until Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Upper Providence Township Building, 935 N. Providence Road, Media, PA for the: 2021-2022 Snow Removal Contract The project will consist of the following: 1. Salting of approximately 25 miles of Township owned and maintained roads located in various sections of the Township. 2. Clearing and plowing of approximately 25 miles of Township owned and maintained roads located in various sections of the Township. Specifications and bidding documents may be obtained at the Township Administrative office, 935 N. Providence Road, Media, PA 19063. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10) percent of the total bid price, payable to Upper Providence Township. The bid must be on the forms furnished in the package and enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside with the Bidders Company name and the â2021-2022 Snow Removal Contractâ? and addressed to the Township at the above address. Notice is hereby given to the requirements contained in this Bid Package particularly to the insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for the submittal of a one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds. Listed equipment will be inspected by the Township to verify compliance with the bid documents prior to awarding the contract. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any formalities in the best interest of the Township. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of receiving the bids by the Township except as provided by law.
