LEGAL PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WYOMING BOROUGH The Municipality of Wyoming Borough requires professional services and advice for the following project: Wyoming Borough CDBG ADA Handicap Ramp Improvements Project. The project involves engineering and surveying for ADA Handicap Ramp Improvements along: Susquehanna Avenue from Route 0011 (Wyoming Avenue) to Route 1021 (8th Street) approx. 3,500 ft, 9th Street from Route 0011(Wyoming Avenue) to Susquehanna Avenue approx. 1,600 ft, 3rd Street from Monument Avenue to Susquehanna Avenue approx. 1,100 ft, and 2nd Street from Route 0011 (Wyoming Avenue) to Susquehanna Avenue approx. 1,800 ft. This project is being funded through the Luzerne County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The Municipality of Wyoming Borough is pleased to invite your firm to submit a written “Request for Proposal” for this project. The Municipality shall negotiate a contract with the firm that submits the most advantageous proposal, subject to the evaluation of information received from interested firms, for necessary services, for a fee which the Municipality determines to be fair and reasonable. Should the Municipality be unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the firm considered to be the most qualified, the Municipality shall then undertake negotiations with the second most qualified firm. Detailed information as to the specific services requested are set forth in the Request for Proposal, a copy of which may be obtained at Wyoming Borough Municipal Building 277 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, PA 18644, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., or requested by e-mailing rcolarusso@ wyomingpa.org. Interested firms shall address and submit their “Request for Proposal” to: Roseanne Colarusso, Wyoming Borough Manager, Wyoming Borough Municipal Building 277 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, PA 18644, no later than 11:00 AM, prevailing time, on October 5, 2021, when the proposals will be opened. The successful proposal is expected to be awarded at the October 12, 2021 Borough meeting. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and is not responsible for any mail delays.
