LITTLETON WATER DEPARTMENT, SEWER DIVISIONINVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) The Littleton Water Department (‘LWD’) Sewer Division invites bids from qualified bidders for: Littleton Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Project. General Contractors and filed Sub-Contractors must be pre-qualified to bid on the project. Pre-qualifying has been completed prior to this public advertisement of this project.Separate Sealed Bids for construction of the Littleton Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), Town Contract Number IFB-2023, CWSRF-7020, will be accepted electronically (E-Bid) by Projectdog at www.projectdog.com on behalf of the LWD, Awarding Authority. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.Documents will be available online at www.Projectdog.com on February 3, 2023 at 12:00 PM. Respondents must have an active account on www.Projectdog.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids electronically.Bids for filed sub-contracts designated herein will be received from prequalified filed sub-contractors will be accepted electronically (E-Bid), by Projectdog at www.projectdog.com until 2:00 PM, February 22, 2023. Bids for the General Contract will be accepted electronically (E-Bid), by Projectdog at www.projectdog.com from prequalified General Contractors until 2:00 PM, March 15, 2023. For assistance, contact Projectdog Inc. at 978.499.9014.The project includes the construction of the new Littleton Water Resource Recovery Facility to be located at 242 King Street with an initial capacity of 208,000 gallons per day (average daily flow), including but not limited to: site work, yard piping, equalization tank, influent pumping station, process building, including screening room, biological tanks, membrane bioreactor treatment system, and effluent pumping station. The Contract Time shall be 550 Calendar Days commencing twenty days following the Effective Date of the Agreement. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor, subcontractor, vendor, and all other interested parties submitting bids to review all addenda prior to submitting bids. All addenda will be posted at www.projectdog.com.Questions or clarifications regarding this IFB should be submitted in writing to: johnstonkm@cdmsmith.com.Each General Bid and Sub-Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by Bid Securities in the amount of five percent of the bid. Chapter 149, Section 44D, General Bids will be valid only when accompanied by (1) a current certificate of eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, showing that the General Bidder has the classification of Sewage and Water Treatment Plants and a capacity to perform this work and (2) an update statement summarizing the General Bidder’s record for the period between the latest Division of Capital Assets Management and Maintenance certification and the date the bid is submitted. Any General Bid submitted without the appropriate certificate and update statement is invalid and must be rejected. The estimated project cost is $19,000,000.In accordance with M.G.L.
