LITTLETON WATER DEPARTMENT, SEWER DIVISIONINVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) The Littleton Water Department (‘LWD’) Sewer Division invites bids from qualified bidders for: Littleton Effluent Recharge Project. Specifications, instructions to bidders and related bid documents will be available beginning February 1, 2023 and may be obtained electronically by completing a one-time registration process on the LELWD website (https://www.lelwd.com/invitation-for-bid/). Once registered, the bid documents will be e-mailed to the address provided. Hard copies are available upon request. Questions or clarifications regarding this IFB should be submitted in writing to: creardon@lelwd.com.All bids for this project are subject to the applicable provisions of the Massachusetts bidding laws, including those found at M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M et seq.A bid deposit in an amount equal to 5% of the total amount of the bid will be due with the bid, in the form of a certified check, bid bond or cashier’s check. The bidder agrees that its bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days, Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays excluded, after the opening of the bids.A payment bond in an amount equal to 50% of the total amount of the bid will be required for the successful bidder. The surety on such bonds shall be a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Owner.Attention is directed to the minimum wage rates to be paid on this project as determined by the Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 149, §§ 26-27D.The successful bidder will be required to submit CORI forms through the Littleton School Department for all personnel working on the Project site, 56 King St. Littleton, MA 01460, and must maintain a list of approved screened personnel with Owner’s representative.All bids must be sealed, include an electronic copy via USB stick, marked on the outside ‘IFB-FY23-1’ and be received at the office of LWD, Nick Lawler, General Manager, 39 Ayer Rd. Littleton MA 01460, no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 22, 2023, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
