Methuen Public Schools is seeking bids for IFB22.06 – School Year: Special Transportation. All bids will be received at the Methuen Public Schools, Business Office, 10 Ditson Place, Time Stamped at Reception Area, Methuen, Massachusetts, 01844 until the time specified below at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read. The time received will be stamped on each bid for a consistency of time, the wall clock in the Reception Area will be the determining time. Monday, March 21, 2022 @ 10:00AM, bid documents and bid forms may be obtained on the Methuen Public School – Procurement Webpage: https://methuenk12maus.finalsite. com/departments/procurement. Bids will be opened in the Business Office, Central Administration Building on Thursday, April 14, 2022 @ 11:00am. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security of CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, or BID BOND issued by a responsible bank or trust company licensed to do business in the State of Massachusetts in the amount of two hundred thousand ($200,000). Such bonds shall be prepared by and supplied by a surety company licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The bidding and award of this contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30B. Methuen Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of Methuen Public Schools.
