NANTUCKET PUBLIC SCHOOLS INVITATION FOR BIDS BACKUS LANE SITE IMPROVEMENTS PHASE II The Nantucket Public Schools, through its School Committee, invites qualified bidders to submit bids for the development of Phase II of the Backus Lane Fields site. Project consists consisting of: site preparation, erosion and sedimentation control, earthwork operations, asphalt paving, concrete paving, natural grass baseball field construction, post-tensioned concrete tennis court construction, chain link fencing installation, ball safety netting installation, block retaining wall construction, irrigation well and field irrigation, planting, sodding, seeding, site electrical, telecommunications, and security operations/installation. General Bids can be obtained from and will be accepted at Nantucket High School, Director of Facilities & Grounds, 10 Surfside Road, Nantucket, MA 02554, until 10:00 AM, May 25th, 2021 and publicly opened forthwith or this Advertisement for Bids which is made in accordance with M.G.L. c30 s 39M. Bid documents are available online at www.nantucket-ma.gov on the Procurement page. The Nantucket Public Schools must approve any contract regarding this project and the Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in its best interest to do so.
