NOTICE – ADVERTISEMENT BRISTOL TOWNSHIP BUCKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Proposals will be received by The Township of Bristol (Owner) via the PennBid website, https://pennbid.procureware.com/Bids, for public bidding. Bids will be received electronically until 11:00 o’clock A.M., on the 26th day of August 2021, at the PennBid website for the construction of: TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODERNIZATION The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor and supervision required for Traffic Signal Modernization as shown on the Contract Drawings and specified herein. Modifications include but are not limited to; installation of traffic signal supports and mast arms, controller assembly, emergency pre-emption, video detection, signal heads, pedestrian signals and push buttons, signs, wiring, conduit, pavement markings, and sign timing/phasing optimization; maintenance and protection of traffic; and all necessary appurtenant work and materials required to complete the work indicated. The successful Contractor must comply with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination as indicated in the Contract Documents and must be PENNDOT pre-qualified. All contractors must be pre-qualified with PennDOT in accordance with section 102.01 of PennDOT Publication 408, latest edition. Prospective bidders may procure copies of the plans, specifications and bid forms, as well as the names of those who have secured plans and specifications online at the PennBid website, https://pennbid.procureware.com/Bids. Questions regarding this advertisement will only be accepted online via the PennBid website, https://pennbid.procureware.com/Bids until 11:00 o’clock A.M. on the 12 day of August 2021. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bids within 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bristol Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to accept the bid that it deems, in its sole judgement, to be in the best interest of the Township. Randee J.
