NOTICE – ADVERTISEMENT CLARIFIER LAUNDER REPLACEMENT FOR THE HATFIELD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) by the HATFIELD TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY until 4:00 PM prevailing time on Friday, July 30, 2021 for the Clarifier Launder Replacement project, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Project generally consists of replacing the channels and weirs for the secondary clarifiers at the Hatfield Township Municipal Authority’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 3200 Advance Lane, Colmar, PA 18915. The Work will be bid under one prime contract. An optional pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:30 AM prevailing time on Thursday, July 15 2021, at the Hatfield Township Municipal Authority office located at 3200 Advance Lane, Colmar, PA. All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. For assistance locating the solicitation, a PennBid Representative can be reached at 717-488-0035. Hatfield Township Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as well as the right to waive any or all informalities in awarding the contract in the best interest of the Authority. Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required per the Bid Documents. This Project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. See the Instructions to Bidders for additional information and requirements. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience and at least ten (10) completed projects of similar nature to the Work required by this Project. Questions and inquiries should be addressed through PennBid’s “Question” tab. The deadline for all questions and inquiries is 5:00 PM prevailing time on Monday, July 26, 2021. Bidders can utilize the PennBid Program without any initial or recurring costs. A fee 0.25% of the bid total, capped at $5,000, is assessed only to the bidder who is awarded the project. By: Peter R.
